R. Madhavan’s gripping social drama Hisaab Barabar, produced by Jio Studios and SP Cinecorp, will premiere at the 55th IFFI on November 26, 2024. Directed by Ashwni Dhir, it tackles financial fraud.

In Hisaab Barabar, Madhavan plays Radhe Mohan Sharma, a railway ticket checker who uncovers a massive fraud involving banker Micky Mehta (Neil Nitin Mukesh), facing both systemic corruption and personal challenges.

Kirti Kulhari adds depth to the story with a pivotal role, as the film delves into themes of justice, integrity, and the personal sacrifices involved in standing up for what’s right.

R. Madhavan commented on the film, saying, “Hisaab Barabar is more than a fight against corruption; it’s about confronting personal flaws and realizing that justice isn’t as simple as balancing numbers. It’s a story of moral accountability, and I’m thrilled for audiences to experience it at IFFI.”

Director Ashwni Dhir expressed his excitement about the premiere, saying, “It’s an honor to present Hisaab Barabar at the 55th IFFI. This film is not just a thriller, but a reflection on the struggle for truth in a deceptive world. Through Radhe’s journey, we examine the complexities of a common man seeking justice. I’m proud of our collaboration with Jio Studios and SP Cinecorp and hope the film both entertains and prompts reflection on the battle between right and wrong.”
