The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 announced on Tuesday that the Kartik Aaryan-starrer has surpassed the ₹400-crore mark at the global box office. The Anees Bazmee-directed horror-comedy has earned a total of ₹408.52 crore worldwide.
Kartik Aaryan took to X on Tuesday to share his gratitude, posting, “Everything is possible if the audience is standing by you and believes in your story♥️ Thank YOU 🤙 400 Crore paar 🔥 #BhoolBhulaiyaa3” alongside a poster of the film.
As per industry data-tracking platform Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 began its box office run with a ₹35.5 crore nett collection on its opening day. The film earned ₹158.25 crore nett in its first week. In the second week, it brought in ₹58 crore nett, followed by ₹23.35 crore nett in the third week. With an additional ₹8.4 crore nett in its fourth week so far, the film’s total net domestic collection now stands at ₹248 crore nett.
The film follows the story of Rooh Baba (Kartik Aaryan), who discovers a haunted mansion near Kolkata and encounters the spirit of Manjulika, leading to a series of eerie yet humorous events. The film’s ensemble cast includes Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit theaters on November 1, facing competition from Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, a film in the cop universe starring Ajay Devgn. While Singham Again slightly outperformed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office during the first week, its momentum began to slow down after the first Wednesday. So far, Singham Again has earned ₹240.9 crore nett in India.
