Allu Arjun’s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise not only broke numerous box office records but also earned him a National Award, marking a historic achievement as the first Telugu actor to win the prestigious honor. Recently, the actor appeared on Unstoppable With NBK Season 4, where he reflected on his monumental win. In a promo for the upcoming episode, Allu Arjun shared his thoughts on the National Award.
“When I checked the list of Best Actor National Award winners, I noticed that no Telugu actor had won it. That realization hurt me deeply. At that moment, I made up my mind to achieve it,” the actor said.
The promo also featured a heartfelt moment with Allu Arjun’s mother, Nirmala Allu, who joined him later in the episode. The full, unreleased episode is set to air on November 15. So far, the show has featured notable guests, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Dulquer Salmaan, among others.
On the work front, Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, titled Pushpa 2: The Rule, is set to release in theaters on December 5. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil will reprise their roles as Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, while Allu Arjun returns as Pushpa. The sequel picks up the story where the first film left off, exploring Pushpa’s rise to power in the underworld.
